Acie Earl Hosted Basketball Events

2020 Holiday Phenom Midwest Scout/Ranking Combine

Coach Acie Earl in conjunction with Phenom Iowa and Phenom America, will host its first Midwest Scouting Combine where each player who attends will be ranked. Monty Buckley, formerly of the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings; and currently national Phenom camp head scout will be attendance both days to rank each player boys/girls and all ages. This will be the 1st Midwest Phenom ranking ever and will be published on other phenom sites and social media and coach earl's website www.venomsportstraining.com.

Players will check in Monday, December 28 10.30 to 11.45am to get both Phenom jersey and shorts. Players will be put thru skill/drills and shooting competitions such as hot shot, speed lay ups, free throws, 3 pt, and 1 on 1. Medals will be given for 1st and 2nd place.

The 2nd day on Tuesday, December 29 - players will be put on teams to play games and compete for rankings. The All-Star team will be picked and released/announced by 6pm.
Camp will end at 7pm.

Players who have received an national camp invite in any of Phenom Iowa regional camps before will get a special discount half price code to attend the camp. Please email coach earl directly.

Players will receive phenom shorts, reversable jerseys and player evaluations.

1-Each camper should bring their own ball, rubber or leather or composite is ok

2-Each camper should bring their own water bottles as all drinking fountains in the facilities will be shut down

3-We reserve the right to not give a written evaluation to campers to minimize germs passing from coaches to players

4-In summer 2020, we will not be allowing any 5 on 5 or any offensive / defensive drills betweeen campers to minimizze risk

5-Coaches and players will not touch and or highfive or fist bump during camp

6-Masks are optional for players and coaches, but not discouraged

7-We ask that only 1 parent be present in the gym and please no siblings

8-No more than 10 kids will be in a group at each basket

9-The camp will focus on more skills and drills not games

10-Frequent breaks will occur with sanitizing players basketballs and player areas will occur during camp.
