**VIRTUAL TRYOUTS**

**VIRTUAL** TRYOUT GENERAL INFORMATION

• Tryouts will be through a video submission format.
• Videos will be released to all registered participants on September 11th. Individuals can register until Saturday, September 11th.
• There will be 2 videos released to registrants on Saturday September 11th. The music mix needed for the second video will also be included.
• The first video will be a technique video that you will need to recreate. Instructions will go along with the video. Technique could include: Left/right kicks, toe touches, leaps, left/right turns, optional jumps
• The second video will be Pom choreography (4 eight-counts). Choreography will be at an intermediate level and to a specified dance mix that will be sent with the video.
• There will also be a solo portion for candidates to showcase their strongest skills.
• All candidates must wear black top (crop top, sports bra, or fitted tank acceptable), fitted black shorts, and tennis shoes for the audition portion. Candidates should have hair and makeup “gameday/performance ready.”
• There will be a detailed tryout packet sent to all registrants once they register via the website. ALL registrants must be registered on www.neworleanspomcamps.com to receive the tryout packet.
• The deadline to submit videos will be Friday, September 17th at 5:00pm.
