Prospect Camps


The Rutgers University Baseball Coaching Staff is hosting a one-day Prospect Camp at Bainton Field and the Fred Hill Indoor Complex, home of Scarlet Knights Baseball.  This camp is designed for players who are interested in improving their skills and abilities to play college baseball. Our Winter Prospect Camp will include the following:

  • Pro-Style Workout (Hitting Evaluations, Defensive Evaluations, Pop Times, 60 Yd. Time, Arm Strength Velocity, Exit Velocity)
  • Game Play Opportunities/Simulated Games
  • Professional Instruction & Feedback For All Players (Pitchers & Position Players)
  • Campus & Facility Tour with Recruiting Q&A
  • Exposure To Multiple College Baseball Programs

Cost: $200 | Pitchers

Location: Bainton Field/Fred Hill Indoor Complex (146 Hospital Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854)

College coach's attendance is subject to change. Please keep checking our website for updates on the programs that will be in attendance. Please check your email prior to camp for exact camp times, check-in times and detailed schedules.

Equipment: Players should wear proper baseball attire (baseball pants, shirt, belt and hat).  Players will need a glove, bat, helmet and molded cleats or turf shoes as Bainton Field & The Fred Hill Indoor Complex is a field turf playing surface.  Catchers should bring their own equipment. We will take a break mid-day for lunch - please bring your own lunch.

This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.) Enrollment numbers will be limited.
