Event Description

2022 MACK BROWN YOUTH CAMP

Youth Camp is for young players AGES 9 TO 14. No one over age 14 is eligible for this camp.

NO WALK-UPS ACCEPTED – PRE-REGISTERED CAMPERS ONLY!

Suggested Items To Bring To Camp

  • Football shoes (cleats and tennis shoes) are preferred for all drill periods.
  • Camper should dress in shorts and t-shirt for camp.
  • No helmets.

Requirements For Registration

In order to make the registration process less time consuming, the Carolina staff asks that campers register online. Limited space is available.
 
No meals are included in the cost of camp. Overnight lodging on campus is neither included nor available. Lists of local hotels are available under the “HOTELS” tab on the homepage.

Required Medical Forms

The following forms are completed during online registration:
1) Summer Camp Release and Attestation
2) Communicable Disease Safety Acknowledgement
3) University Code of Conduct

Registration Location:
Eddie Smith Practice Facility. It is a part of the football practice facility on Ridge Road across the road from Boshamer Baseball Stadium.
Parking is available in the Ram’s Head Parking Deck on 344 Ridge Road. There will be signs directing you to camp registration from the parking deck.
Registration Time: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Camp Ends: Approximately 4:00 PM
Pick-up after camp: Eddie Smith Practice Facility (same spot as registration)
Cost: $50.00

9:30 AM – Parent Meeting / Coach Brown Welcome
9:50 AM – Break into Tar Heel Ball Teams
10:00 AM – Warm Up
10:15 AM – Offensive Fundamentals (Offensive Coaches)
10:45 AM – Water Break / Explain Tar Heel Ball Rules
10:50 AM – Tar Heel Ball (3 games)
11:35 AM – Breakdown / Water Break
                   Guest Speakers (2 Players)

11:50 AM – Lunch – (Chick-fil-A sandwich, chips and cookie – if your child has allergies that prevent them from eating, please provide their lunch. We will not have options.)

12:50 PM – Warm Up
1:05 PM – Defensive Fundamentals (Defensive Coaches)
1:35 PM – Water Break / Guest Speakers (2 Players)
1:50 PM – Tar Heel Ball (3 Games)
2:35 PM – Water Break
2:40 PM – Special Teams Instruction
3:40 PM – Closing Remarks / Rewards
4:00 PM – Pick UP: Bill Koman Practice Facility

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age and grade.
