ABOUT PROSPECT CAMP
The University of Oregon Softball program will be hosting a Prospect Camp. Oregon Duck players and coaches will provide players with instruction and evaluation of their softball skill level at our elite facility, Jane Sanders Stadium. Position players will be run through various offensive and defensive drills, while pitchers will be given instruction through drills, bullpen sessions and game situations. The focus will be on the fundamentals of all aspects of the game. Players will also be broken up into three teams on day two of the camp to compete in live game situations. Pitchers will be held to pitch counts and position players will be given as many at-bats as possible to provide ample opportunity to showcase their skills. Staff members will roam the field to provide in-game instruction to players and pitchers to help them understand the details of the game.
