Event Description

Bradley Softball Prospect Camp

Session 1 Camp Details:  Session one of the Bradley softball prospect camp will focus on pitching and catching skill instruction.  Pitchers and catchers will be introduced to elite pitching and catching techniques that are being implemented at the collegiate level.  Specific drills will be introduced to enhance velocity, change of speed, and deception for pitchers.  Catchers will work through a progression that will focus on framing, blocking, and throwing.

Session 2 Camp Details: Session two of the Bradley softball prospect camp will focus on offense and defense.  The offensive instruction will focus on reinforcing collegiate level drills that will help campers to reinforce essential mechanics of the swing.  An emphasis on hitters timing and vision will be pronounced throughout the workout as well as plans at the plate.

The defensive instruction will focus on all positions with the exception of pitching and catching.  Both infielders and outfielders will have the opportunity to run through high level philosophies and approach to fielding and throwing.

Location:  Louisville Slugger Complex: Stadium Field (8400 Orange Prairie Rd, Peoria Illinois)
Back up location in case of inclement weather: Louisville Slugger Complex: Dome

Essentials: Turf shoes only. Catchers must bring their own gear (Session 1) & Turf shoes only

Check in will begin at 8:15 am.

Camp Policy Disclaimer: No outside food within the Louisville Slugger Softball Complex. Turf shoes must be worn at all times.

This camp is owned and operated by Willis Softball Academy, LLC. Bradley University does not directly operate this camp is not responsible for any expenses related to your participation in the camp or costs incurred in the event of cancellation of all or any portion of the camp. There are no refunds but funds can be used towards a future camp.
