Date: Saturday, January 7th
Location: Kent State Field House, 2227 Summit Street, Kent, Ohio 44240
Instructors: KSU Softball Coaching Staff, Athletes & Other Top Collegiate Coaches
Why Attend?: Instruction in Pitching, Catching, Offense, Infield, Outfield, based on which session(s) are selected. Instructors include KSU Softball Staff & student-athletes, as well as coaches from other colleges & universities. Registration in any session automatically includes the opportunity to attend any of the Recruiting Q&A sessions.
General Information:
→ Participants should wear sneakers and game pants/practice pants. (no cleats will be allowed in the Field House).
→ Every participant will be given a color-coded bracelet to indicate their graduation year.
→ Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first session to check-in and turn in your medical forms.
→ Directions are located on the Facility / Directions tab to the left.
→ Apparel and concessions will be sold during the camp.
Sign Up Early: If the session you would like to attend is full and you are unable to attend another session, please use the Showcase Waiting List to reserve your place for openings.
Confirmations: Confirmations will be sent out via email once a registration is processed. Online registration and email is the primary method in contacting you with 2023 KSU Showcase Information.
Waiting List: Wait list campers must pay registration fees. If you do not get into a session your fees will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. The $10 processing fee will cover all cancelled and/or unattended wait list sessions.
Insurance: Kent State University has purchased insurance for each participant that will cover injury over and above your primary insurance coverage. A first aid provider will be on duty. Each participant and all catchers must have KSU Medical Form turned in at check-in in order to participate. If you register online, you can access these forms in the Required Forms tab to the left. If you register after the online cut-off date, a parent must accompany the participant to sign the forms the day of camp.
Refunds: Once registered, no refunds are granted except due to medical situation/illness or injury, minus service fee of $10.
