Prospect Camps

The new look Lopes Baseball staff under 10th year Grand Canyon Coach, and first year Head Coach Gregg Wallis, hosts it's first prospect camp in fall of 2022. Two day prospect camp with a chance to get face to face with the entire GCU coaching staff and see how the Lopes programs works at state-of-the-art facility GCU Ballpark.

Day 1 will consist of a pro-style workout with grades and evaluations by Head Coach Gregg Wallis, Pitching Coach Nathan Bannister, Infield Coach Jack Wilson, and Catching Coach Paul Panaccione.

Day 2, players will be split into teams and compete vs each other in game play. Game notes and evaluations will be taken by the GCU staff.

Year in and year out, the GCU Baseball program discovers talent at our Prospect Camps. Getting on our field, wearing our colors, and building relationships with each players is something that is very valuable to us as a staff as we continue our search for the next great Lope.
