Event Description

ALABAMA CHEER TRYOUTS 2023

Tryout Dates and Information:

IN ORDER TO TRYOUT YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have applied to, and been accepted by, the University of Alabama.  You will need to upload a letter of acceptance by May 12th (see below on page).  You will not be eligible to try out in person without an acceptance letter to The University of Alabama.
  • Must be an incoming Freshman, or College Transfer Student

SCHEDULE

  • Registration for tryouts will be February 10th - February 22nd at 5pm
  • Instructions on what to include in your tryout video will be emailed to you on February 22nd
  • Highlight reels will be due by March 20th, but can be uploaded anytime they are completed after 2/22.
  • An email will go out inviting potential athletes to attend an IN-PERSON tryout/evaluation.  This email will be sent on March 24th.  The Alabama Spirit Staff will communicate with you using the email you register with for tryouts.   If for any reason you’re not receiving emails or have any questions, please contact us at alabamacheer@ia.ua.edu or call 205-348-3636.   
  • IN-PERSON tryouts will be May 10th & 11th.  New 2023-24 team practices will be May 12th and 13th.

Alabama Cheer Tryouts: $50 registration fee


SUBMIT YOUR UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA ACCEPTANCE LETTER

REQUIRED!

You will need to upload a letter of acceptance by May 12th.  You will not be eligible to try out in person without an acceptance letter to The University of Alabama.  The acceptance letter may be uploaded during registration, or after.  If uploading acceptance letter after you register, please see below.

After Registering Online, You Will Receive a Registration ID:

  1. Type in your Registration ID & Last Name at the bottom of the page here.
  2. Click Continue
  3. Upload Aceptance Letter
