2023 SUMMER ELITE SKILLS AND PROSPECT CAMP

Join Head Coach Pete D’Amour and the rest of the Hokies for an all encompassing offense and defense camp. This SIX hour camp will be split into three separate sessions of offense, defense, simulated game play and personal camper development through our college preparation stations. We look forward to continuing improving upon our highly recommended camps and clinics with this year’s edition of summer camps!

During this camp, you can expect:

• Offensively: Station work including movement drills, movement progression and development, barrel awareness, use of state of the art technology and more.
• Defensively: Fundamental work of the infield and outfield, throwing pattern development, position specific training.
• Simulated Game Play: Campers will get to compete against other athletes in simulated game play. With coaches and current and former players assisting the teams in play, getting real time instruction and guidance during game play is an important aspect of our camps.
• College Prep Presentation: Join in with current and former players to hear and discuss all things college softball. This is a new and exciting portion of our Skills camps! This presentation will tailor to all campers and how to best prepare themselves for recruiting, leading up to college, and tips and tricks to help through the process of preparing for college.
• Overall concepts including Q&A sessions and Chalk Talk

In order to be compliant with NCAA rules, please understand that any payment you make towards this clinic is non-refundable. Pete D’Amour Softball Camps unfortunately cannot offer credit to future Academy’s or Outdoor Camps due to limited registrants and space. NCAA Bylaw 13.4.3.1.2.1 states that it is permissible for camps to be advertised towards a particular audience (e.g., elite camp), but advertisements or promotions must indicate that the camps are open to any and all (limited only by number, age, grade level and gender).
 

Pete D’Amour Softball Camps will follow all up to date Virginia Tech and VA Department of Health guidelines. Virginia Tech and NRV COVID numbers will be evaluated on a daily basis. If Covid-19 numbers significantly increase, camp could be postponed or cancelled. Campus Authorities will determine if and when changes need to occur.
