Join us for an Unforgettable Winter Softball Camp at Ole Miss!

Are you ready to take your softball skills to the next level? We're thrilled to introduce our upcoming all-skills and showcase camp at Ole Miss, where you'll have the opportunity to learn from a fantastic new staff of experienced coaches.

Pitching Instruction by Karl Gollan:
Karl Gollan, a renowned pitching expert, will be leading our pitching instruction. Get ready to refine your pitching techniques, improve accuracy, and gain insights from one of the best in the field.

Hitting with Daniel Nicolaisen and DJ Sanders:
Our hitting instruction dream team includes Daniel Nicolaisen and DJ Sanders. With their expertise, you'll receive personalized guidance to enhance your hitting mechanics, power, and consistency.

Defense Training with Head Coach Jamie Trachsel:
Our head coach, Jamie Trachsel, will be personally overseeing our defense training. Learn the art of fielding, positioning, and teamwork under her guidance to become a formidable defender on the field.

This winter camp promises not only to elevate your softball skills but also to provide an unforgettable experience of growth and fun. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to train with the best in the business.

We will be offering player development, skill instruction, and scrimmage play at this camp. There will also be an option available to add on a pitching/catching session for an additional $75. Player development and skill instruction for all areas of the game (including optional pitching and catching) will take place on day one, and game play will follow starting the next day. This camp is best suited for intermediate to advanced players.

The teams will be broken up by position to optimize playing opportunities for all campers.

What to Bring:

• Wear pants and a t-shirt
• Tennis Shoes (Must bring tennis shoes for indoor facility)
• Spending Money (Camp Store)
• Sunscreen

All Softball Equipment

• Glove
• Catching Equipment (If you are a catcher)
• Cleats
• Softball Bat
• Helmet
• Batting Gloves (If you use them)

Miscellaneous Information

COVID Protocols
Ole Miss Sports Camps will monitor and practice all health and safety regulations related to COVID-19. Any updates or changes needed to procedures will be communicated prior to the start of your camp.

What if I have to cancel a camp?
Ole Miss Softball offers camp credit. If for some reason a camper cannot attend, please inform the staff at softballcamps@olemiss.edu one week prior to the camp or clinic date and we will gladly forward your camp balance to be used towards another Ole Miss Softball Camp or Clinic. If the camp director is not notified one week prior to the camp or clinic date, no credit will occur.  If an individual cannot attend due to a medical reason, please provide a doctor’s note to softballcamps@olemiss.edu and the credit will be forwarded if the cancellation is made prior to camp. Finally, no refunds or credits will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp.
