2023 Gopher Baseball Winter Holiday Camp

December 27th & 28th, 2023

Grades: 3rd - 8th
Times: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Cost: $275 per Player

The Minnesota Baseball Instructional School will be hosting a Holiday break youth camp for any and all kids in grades 3-8 on Wednesday December 27th, and Thursday December 28th in the Gibson-Nagurski indoor field house. The main focus of the camp will be to help young players improve their skills and enjoy baseball activities during students’ holiday break. The camps will run from 9am until 4pm, each day. Check-In will begin at 8:30 am on both days and campers will have an hour break each day for lunch. Each camper will need to bring their own bagged lunch, as lunch will NOT be provided to campers.

The cost for the camps will be $275 per player

Approximate Schedule of Events

8:30 - Check in begins in the Gibson-Nagurski Field House

9:00 - Camp Introductions

9:15 - Dynamic Warmup
9:35 - Players begin to play catch with instruction
10:00 - Defensive competition to finish up the morning
12:00 - Break for lunch (Campers will eat inside the field house)
1:10 - Hitting Instruction and drills
2:40 - Hitting competitions
3:00 - Age specific competitions and scrimmages
3:45 - Closing remarks
4:00 - Camp Concludes

NOTE:

Players at all age levels should bring their own equipment to use as the Gopher coaching staff will not have any to provide. This includes, glove, bat, water bottle, and catching gear (if necessary)

Lunch:
Lunch will not be provided. Campers will need to bring a lunch and we will have a supervised lunch session.

Gopher Baseball Programs are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
