Cougar Volleyball Camps
2024 Beach Camp
The health and safety of coaches and participants is our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the recommendations of local health authorities and will be sending updates specific to this event as we gain more information.

Open to girls and boys entering 7th - 12th Grades. This camp is designed to work primarily on the fundamentals of beach volleyball in challenging and fun environment. Excellent beach instruction given by College of Charleston coaches and beach volleyball student-athletes will help you master the basics and introduce you to high level playing!
To start anew in 2024 we have reformatted our sessions to better represent the initial fundamental needs of the younger athletes we so much enjoy having participate: In the itinerary you will see a GROUP 1 and a GROUP 2 -
*GROUP 1 will be assigned at the conclusion of registration (this year it will be the Wednesday prior to each camp) and it will solely be based on age if you are a new camper – if your athlete is entering 7thor 8thgrade in the Fall of 2024 they will be included in Group 1, everyone else will be included in Group 2. This, initially, will be a catch all in hopes we can get the right people the right instruction to make their experience even more enjoyable! Immediately following the first hour of instruction (GROUP 1 only) we will have assignments for 3 groups since we have 3 courts (also based on age, but with a stronger nod to skill level). Lastly, the athletes initially assigned to GROUP 1 will check out on Saturday at 2:30pm and those initially assigned to GROUP 2 will recoup their hour on the courts by themselves with advanced play until 3:30pm.
*ALL EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO POSITION EACH ATHLETE IN THE PROPER GROUP during each of the sessions labeled ALL on the itinerary.
*BOTH SESSIONS ON SUNDAY WILL BE FOR EVERYONE – split into the three groups during the ALL sessions on Saturday
*RETURNING CAMPERS – we will have a wave of new drills for all sessions and you will be given consideration to be in GROUP 2 initially without age restriction
Cancellation
There is a $50 administrative fee for ALL cancellations made up to May 8th for Camp #1 and May 15th for Camp #2. NO REFUNDS for cancellations made after May 8th for Camp #1 and May 15th for Camp #2
