2024 Summer Camps

Full Skills Camps - This camp is designed to provide fun along with a wide array of instruction for boys and girls entering grades 4-9. Emphasis will be placed on well-rounded basketball skill, knowledge, and understanding. Campers will be put through daily ball-handling, shooting, defensive, and team drills as well as participate in 5 on 5 games and skills challenges at the conclusion of camp. The goal is that campers leave with not only a better understanding of the game and the tools to improve their individual performance, but also with a greater passion and interest in basketball.

Location
Each camp is held in the $24 million WAC on the campus of, Hendrix College. This state of the art facility holds three basketball court and 10 goals and is fully air-conditioned.

Awards
Will be given to those campers performing the highest in the individual skills challenges and team competitions.

Staff
Camp instructors, lead by Head Men’s Basketball Coach Thad McCracken, will include local high school and college coaches as well as college players.

Insurance
Campers will be covered with an “excess” insurance policy during their participation in camp. In the event of an injury, you must first file a claim through your own policy, then this insurance will consider the remaining amount. Insurance is included in camp registration fee.
