WELCOME
The UB Football staff would like to invite you to the University at Buffalo. This is a great chance to connect with UB and our coaching staff. This camp provides an opportunity to showcase your talents and create the exposure needed as you continue the recruiting process. Go Bulls!
Mega Camp: The University at Buffalo Mega Camp, or the term “Mega Camp” refers to a summer camp date where the Buffalo coaching staff will allow ANY visiting college football program to attend our camps. There will be between 25 – 40 visiting colleges between the D1, D1-FCS, & D2 ranks. This is a tremendous opportunity for athletes to pay one price, and get college recruiting exposure from multiple college programs on one date.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
The Bulls Football Camps are non-padded camps designed to provide the best in coaching and teaching for development. The coaching emphasis will be of sound basic offensive/defensive football skills and fundamental instruction for players entering grades 9-12 in the Fall 2024 school year.
Each position is coached by a member of the University at Buffalo Football Staff—an experienced group of mentors that have been part of numerous conference and national championships at the collegiate ranks. Offensive positions include: QB, WR, TE, RB and OL. Defensive positions include: CB, S, LB, and DL/DE.
The strength of our camps is the coaching staff at the University at Buffalo and our emphasis on teaching. The majority of the camp schedule is focused on teaching and drilling the fundamentals and techniques of each position — the same concepts that the UB Bulls themselves are taught!
Skills and competition are based on each camper’s level of experience. The more experienced campers will be taught specific techniques to enhance their skill level. Inexperienced campers will be taught basic fundamentals geared toward their skill level.
WHAT TO BRING
All campers must bring their own cleats and sneakers. Upon receipt of your camp registration, a mandatory health form will be sent via e-mail. This form must be presented during camp check-in/registration. Campers may also want to bring a towel, extra t-shirt, and a water bottle.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
A UB athletic trainer will be on site at all times. The UB training room facilities will be available for use by all campers.
