MEN'S VOLLEYBALL ELITE CAMP

Serving and Defense (Day 1) – Campers will learn various types of serves along with serving philosophies LUMVB uses for their athletes in preparation for matches. They will also get the opportunity to learn how we set up our defense and get into high volume spots on the court. After that, they will work on a toolbox of skills on how to dig the ball.

Day 1 Gameplay - Campers will get warmed up with a few game-like drills focusing on defense, they will get a 2nd opportunity to refine their serving and following that will be 6v6 gameplay.

Serve Receive and Setting (Day 2) – Camper will get the opportunity to work on our serve receive concepts and skill work. They will even get a chance to pass from our serving machine! For setting, campers will get to work on fundamentals and technique to build their toolbox making them difficult for defenses to read.

Day 2 Gameplay – Campers will start with a setting recap and warm up with games that start from serve receive. Followed by 6v6 gameplay where setters can learn strategies that LUMVB uses and passers can learn some of our serve receive practices.

Blocking and Attacking (Day 3) – Get ready to jump! Campers will learn various types of blocking footwork and hand shaping. We will also break down the approach steps, arm swing and attacking philosophies to help you get more kills.

Day 3 Gameplay – Warm up will consist of hitting lines or split court attacking. After that it will be all 6v6 gameplay with attacking and blocking focuses.
