CAPTAINS CUP

7v7 Tournament

Join us for our annual Captains Cup 7v7 Tournament located on the beautiful campus of Christopher Newport University. Each year this event brings together local middle school and high school teams, competitive club programs and student-athletes interested in CNU for a fun day of competition. This small sided tournament allows players to get a lot of touches on the ball, develop their game, and compete at a high level. For prospective students it is a great opportunity to see our campus, meet current players, and be evaluated by our coaching staff.

Games will be 25 minutes in length and each team will play a minimum of 4 games.

DECEMBER 15TH

Open to all Middle School and High School Teams
Time: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Team Cost: $550
Individual Cost: $70 (assigned to house team)

Location: Jennings Family Stadium @ Christopher Newport University

Open to all Middle School and High School teams, both Varsity and JV. Team must have a minimum of 7 field players and a goalie. You may have players to substitute but a maximum of 14 players allowed on the roster.

Individual players can register to compete with the House Team, coached by members of the CNU Women’s Lacrosse team

What to Bring: Stick, goggles, mouth guard, shoes for turf and grass, water bottle, goalies must have their own equipment
