2024 VIRTUAL COACHING CLINICS

Camp Registration Dates and Information
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6TH
AGES: All Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Not open to high school students for compliance reasons Choose one of these great topics each hour!* Session 1 - 6:00-6:50 pm Miguel Pate High Jump Approach and Takeoff Nick Stenuf Moving Up! Preparing Kids for College Distance Events Derek Yush Shot Put/Discus Doublers Session 2 - 7:00-7:50 pm Blaine Wiley Coaching the Combo Hurdler Dan Waters Recruiting 101 \| Recruiting in the new NCAA Landscape Tim Duckworth Coaching the Pole Vault Session 3 - 8:00-8:50 pm Tabarie Henry Accelerattion Training and Mechanics Jordan Pingel Strength Base Training for the 800m Runner Derek Yush Strength and Conditioning Do's and Don'ts for the HS Athlete 10 minutes following each session have been reserved for questions/discussion coaches will choose a topic to participate in for each hour COST: $132.50 ($125 + $7.50 Fee)

REGISTRATION:

Registration is $132.50 ($125 + $7.50 Fee) for the day (3, 1-hour sessions). Registrant will choose which coach they would like to listen to each hour session. Each registration is per person. If you would like to register a second person, you must go through the registration process a second time.

Zoom links will be emailed to the registration email on the day before the class.

WHO CAN SIGN UP FOR THE VIRTUAL COACHES CLINICS?

All Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches are welcome to be a part of the Virtual Coaches Clinic. *Due to the current NCAA Dead Period, Prospective student athletes, or their parents are prohibited to sign up, unless parent is a confirmed Track or Cross Country coach at a scholastic or an organized non-scholastic team.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR THE VIRTUAL CLINICS?

Every coach will need access to an email account, along with specific log-in details for the webinar. Please make sure you have a consistent internet connection.

REFUND POLICY

In order to be compliant with NCAA rules, please understand that any payment you make towards this clinic is non-refundable. If for some reason a coach cannot attend, please inform Derek Yush (dyush@ia.ua.edu) two weeks prior to the clinic date and we will gladly forward your clinic balance to be used towards for a future event. If an individual cannot attend due to a medical reason, please provide a doctor’s note to (dyush@ia.ua.edu) and the balance will be forwarded, if the cancellation is made prior to the event. Finally, no refunds or balance forwards will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from the clinic.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

You will receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours of registering online for clinic. Be sure and check your junk box, as sometimes the confirmation e-mail can get lost there. Also, the e-mail address you listed on the application is where the confirmation e-mail

will be sent, so please double check that the e-mail address is entered correctly before submitting clinic registration form.

THE NCAA PROHIBITS US FROM SAVING SPOTS FOR FUTURE CAMPS OR CLINICS -- NO EXCEPTIONS.
All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).
