Event Description
Wildcat Kids Camp
Wildcat Kids is a field trip combined with a college visit where we aim to provide enriching learning experiences for third graders throughout the state of Indiana on campus at Indiana Wesleyan University.
3rd graders will learn about Force and Motion through fun, energetic large group assemblies and hands-on experiences with WonderSpace EDU!
- Experience 4 hands-on science stations all about force and motion and apply your learning to practical situations
- Shoot some hoops, throw a disc at the disc golf course, and meet the football team at the football stadium as you learn what laws of force and motion apply to these different sports!
- Explore with WonderSpace’s big blue blocks and put the laws of force and motion to the test!
Wildcat Kids aims to:
- Support school learning with creative educational opportunities tied to the third-grade state standards
- Inspire youth to pursue a life-long love of learning by experiencing what college life feels like
- Encourage youth to envision themselves one day pursuing higher education on a college campus
Third graders will get to enjoy lunch at the student center and take photos with Wesley Wildcat at Indiana Wesleyan University’s movie theater. Go home with swag and prizes from your day at IWU, along with educational and memorable experiences!
