7v7 High School Tournament

We are hosting a 7 on 7 Tournament on January 11. The tournament will be open to 8-12 teams with each team having approximately 10-16 players.

Location: Campus Recreation Field (CRF) on Alvey Drive located at the University of Mary Washington

Registration: COACHES - You will be able to register your team by clicking on TEAM REGISTRATION. A team deposit of $60 must be made by coaches. All team deposits (including the fee) are refundable prior to December 11 and will be returned to coaches after their team competes in the event. Once the coach has registered their team, each player is able to register. Players should select PLAYER REGISTRATION, then select their team from the dropdown menu. In order for a player to confirm his spot, payment must be made online.

** Individual players may register for a "House Team" that will be coached by UMW Coaches/Players. Please select "House Team" in Player Registration*

Tournament Details: The format of a 7v7 tournament provides an excellent opportunity for each participant to get a ton of touches on the ball, take a lot of shots, play great defense (Zone or Man) and each goalie will get a tremendous amount of reps.

On the Field:

1 Goalie
2 Defense
2 Midfielders and
2 Attack

Depending on the number of teams registered, the format will include 12 - 15 minute games with games played on 3 fields simultaneously. Fields will be 30x60 yards with creases for each goal.
