Mike Trader's 39th Annual Mid-America Basketball Camps
2025 Summer Camps
Norfolk YMCA
The aims of the Mike Trader’s Mid-America Basketball School will be to teach and develop individual skills and to have fun. The daily schedule will include league games and contests. Players will be divided into separate leagues according to age. Fundamentals will be stressed. Individual drills and training techniques to develop strength, endurance, quickness and jumping ability will be taught. Each camper will be analyzed with the assistance of individual video and attention given to individual technique/correction. Lectures, demonstrations and competition will be according to age level and ability so each camper will have an opportunity to excel.
One of the outstanding features at Mike Trader’s Mid-America Basketball Camp is that each camper will have their shot digitally recorded and analyzed by a coach during camp.

Day Camp Details
These camps will be held for boys and girls ages 7-18. The emphasis of these camps will be to improve your skills and fundamentals along with the elements that are basic to basketball. The daily schedule will include league games and contests. Players will be divided into separate leagues according to age.
- Check-In is from 8:30-10:00 am on the first day of camp.
- Camp will start at 9:00 am and run to 4:00 pm all other days.
- Lunch will be provided each day except the last day of camp.
- Awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 am on the last day of camp and camp will end at noon.

Health & Insurance
We ask each attending camper to be covered by his own personal or family accident and illness insurance. Please list your personal or family insurance company on the application blank on the back page of this form, along with other pertinent insurance information. Campers who do not have personal or family insurance are responsible for their own insurance and must show proof of coverage to attend camp.
