Swim with the Mustangs is a brand new swim lesson program starting in spring on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University! Swim with the Mustangs is open to all children, 3-12 years old.
Cost: $75 for one child, $65 per child for two or more children.
What is the schedule for lessons? Lessons will be small group: 1-4 children per lesson. The lesson will be once a week (M, T, W or Th) at the same time for six weeks - a total of six swim lessons. The time slots are 4:05-4:30 pm, 4:35-5:00 pm, 5:05-5:30 pm, or 5:35-6:00 pm
Who are the instructors? Our instructors are current SMSU swimmers who have high-level club, HS and collegiate swimming experience and years of combined swim lesson experience.
How are our lessons different from other lesson programs offered in the area? Our top priorities are to get your child comfortable in the water and to get your child ready if they choose to pursue competitive swimming. We will start by teaching basics to our new or inexperienced swimmers and will also teach all four competitive strokes, diving, streamlines and underwater kicking to our swimmers with more experience.
Additional Information: There will be no make-up dates for cancelled lessons because of inclement weather or campus closures.
