Harding University Baseball Camp highly recommends purchasing camp insurance to protect your camp fees for any unforeseen circumstances preventing camp attendance/withdrawal. Please see details below
Because the NCAA requires us to have a strict refund policy, camp insurance through Allianz is highly recommended. It is considered a “registration protector policy” provides coverage for lost camp fees when a camper has to cancel/withdraw from camp for a reason covered by this policy.
The camp management strongly urges all campers to purchase this policy. The campers in previous years who have had to use this policy for unforeseen circumstances were extremely grateful for the purchase of camp insurance.
For a nominal fee, it will afford you a full refund for camp should an unfortunate event arise that would keep your son from attending camp. You will have the option to add the insurance during the registration process.
It is strictly for unpredictable events such as:
- Injuries
- Sickness
- Death in the family
- Family employment issues
- Transportation delays
- Military/family/legal obligations
- Weather emergencies that prevents registrant from attending camp
A doctor’s note or some sort of proof of the unfortunate circumstance will be needed upon submitting a claim with Allianz.
It cannot be used for a “change of mind” about camp.
You never think something will happen, but it happens to several players each camp session, every year. Protect your camp fee!! It will even refund you the $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.
Please consider adding the camp insurance to your registration. You’ll be glad you did if something happens.
Camp insurance has to be purchased at the time of registration. It cannot be added after the registration process is complete.
