2025 SPRING ID CAMP - APRIL 5TH

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• NO WALKUP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
• All Medical Waivers, concussion and health forms will be completed and signed electronically.

REGISTRATION: All registrations must be received by 6:00 PM EST on Friday, April 4th. Registration will be limited to the first 124 field players and 16 goalkeepers to register and will be closed after this number is reached.

CAMP FORMAT: Campers will enjoy a full day in a collegiate training environment, a WMU Soccer T-Shirt, and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches from around the region. College coaches from other institutions ranging from Division I-III and NAIA will be present, so each player will get multiple looks for multiple coaches from all levels of college soccer. Typically, at this camp we have upwards of 20 schools in attendance! Space is limited, so register early! Enrollment is open to current high school freshmen and older.

• 2:30 PM- Coach Wiseman Camp Introduction
• 2:45 PM- Training Session
• 4:00 PM- Training Session
• 5:00 PM- Break
• 5:30 PM- Goal Keeper Distribution
• 6:00 PM- Match #1 (45 Minutes)
• 6:50 PM- Match #2 (45 Minutes)
• 7:40 PM- Match #3 (45 Minutes)
• 8:30 PM- Match #4 (45 Minutes)

LOCATION: WMU Seelye Indoor Center & Waldo Stadium
The camp will be held at both the Seelye Indoor Center and Waldo Stadium. Both facilities were part of a $ 1.6 Million renovation during the summer of 2013, which included brand new turf surfaces to both. Both surfaces are 100% State of the Art!

TRAINING STAFF: There will be an athletic trainer at ALL scheduled training sessions and games.

FACILITIES: The camp will be held at both the Seelye Indoor Center and Waldo Stadium.

NOTE: Travel, lodging, and meal/lunch arrangements are the sole responsibility of each camper.

PARKING: The Men’s Soccer 2025 ID Camp will be held in Western Michigan's $22 million dollar, state of the art, Seelye Indoor Facility, as well as outdoors on Waldo Stadium, the home of Bronco Football. Parking is available in LOT 10 just behind the press box at Waldo Stadium. LOT 10 is also where drop-offs will take place if parents/family are not staying for the day. DIRECTIONS TO THE SEELYE CENTER:

• From I-94: At exit #74, turn north onto US-131, go 2.7 miles, see continued directions from US-131 below.
• From US-131: Exit #36A (Stadium Drive East) and proceed 2.5 miles. After crossing Oliver Street (in between basketball arena and softball field), the second right will be the entrance (Lot 7) to the Seelye Center. The Seelye Center is the building located at the east end of the football stadium.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Please be sure to bring snacks to eat during your breaks. During the full sided games, when your team is not playing there will be adequate time to get away to grab a quick meal should you choose to do so.
• Prospects need to bring adequate training apparel: a ball, shinguards, and a pair of firm ground cleats and/or turf cleats (training surface is Field Turf).
• Camp will be held both inside of our indoor facility (the Seelye Center) and outside on the football field in Waldo Stadium.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: If a player is forced to pull out of the camp for COVID, or other medical reasons, a FULL refund (minus a 6% processing fee) will be granted to the player if notification is given by Saturday, March 29th  with medical proof from a Physician. If players do not withdraw before Saturday, March 29th, a $60 processing fee will be withheld from the refund. If the camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, the closest alternative date to the original camp date will be arranged and the camp will resume as planned on the new date.
