CAMP DESCRIPTION - The Full Day Camp is a four-day camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 of all skill levels. The camp is designed to develop players technically and tactically. Campers will be able to practice proper technique when shooting, passing, receiving, dribbling, defending, etc.

There will also be games designed to develop the tactical knowledge and vision of players.
We will provide shade and regular water breaks. During our lunch break, we will head inside to the Junell Center to cool off and have lunch inside an ASU Classroom.

In the event of adverse weather, we will introduce them to Futsal, which is one of the best developers of technique in the world. The day will conclude with a dip in the ASU Ben Kelly Center for Human Performance swimming pool where we will have lifeguards on duty to monitor the campers. We will provide lifejackets for those that require them. Camper pick up will be at the pool.

WHAT TO BRING

✦    Soccer ball (Each camper needs to bring their own soccer ball)
✦    Soccer shoes and Indoor soccer shoes or non-marking running shoes
✦    Sun Screen
✦    Lunch – We will have lunch and rest in an ASU Classroom on the 2nd floor of the Junell Center
✦    Water bottle
✦    Shin guards
✦    Towel – We will finish the day with a dip in the pool
✦    Sandals/Slippers

WEATHER

The ASU Campus is equipped with a Lightning Prediction and Warning System called Weather Sentry (Telvent DTN). Should the Telvent DTN system send a text alert, the field will immediately be cleared and campers will be ushered to the Women’s Soccer Locker Room in the Junell Center. In the event of RAIN, camp will go on as scheduled.

The ASU Soccer field is located on the corner or Johnson Street and Victory Lane. On Google maps, you can search LeGrand Soccer Complex and it will take you to the field.

Lunch is on the second floor of the Junell Center
