Vassar Baseball Youth Day Camp provides a dynamic and fun learning environment for campers to develop and grow fundamental skills. Our camp is designed for players from all backgrounds between the ages of 6-12 years old. We welcome players of all skill levels, from novice to advanced, and strive to foster each individual player’s development.

In addition to working on fundamental and technical skills, campers will have the opportunity to experience Vassar’s campus with training on Prentiss Field and meals provided in Gordon Commons. This is a unique opportunity for campers to experience certain aspects of the college environment, including interacting with college facilities and getting hands-on instruction from high level coaches.

Throughout this camp, players will not only continue to develop and achieve their goals on the field, but also have fun while learning the importance of growing as teammates and individuals off the field.

Check-In:

Check-in will take place at 9:00am at Prentiss Field. Each day of camp will run from 9am-3pm.

Facilities-Meals:

Prentiss Field will be the location of the Day Camp (Walker Fieldhouse if weather requires indoor accommodation). Lunch will be provided on campus at Gordon Commons.

What to Bring:

Players are responsible for bringing their own equipment:

• Bat, Glove, Helmet, Baseball Cleats, Sneakers, Baseball Pants, Shorts and T-Shirt, Water Bottle
• Catchers Only: Catchers Gear

Please put your name on your baseball gear - Vassar is not responsible for lost items.

Parents:
Parents are welcome to visit the baseball camp at any time, as long as they stay off the playing field and do not interfere with camp activities.
