Event Description

2025 Elite Girls Academy

*** There is a $50 fee for canceling camp.
*** This camp sells out each year.

The Elite Girls Academy is for girls that are looking for a competitive training environment. This camp is geared for girls that have participated in club soccer at the academy (U-9, U-10) or competitive (U-11, U-12 select) level, spend time on their own with a ball outside of training, and really enjoy training.

Campers will be taught proper technique and tactical application of technique through small-sided games and contests. Full-day campers will be provided with lunch, go swimming (pending available lifeguards), and compete for prizes. All activities are arranged in a fun, safe, and skill appropriate environment. The camp staff will include the Drake women’s soccer coaching staff as well as former and current players.

Sample Elite Academy Schedule

9:00am Check In – Mediacom Stadium (Monday’s check-in will be from 8:45-9:00am)
9:00-9:30am Camp Warm Up
9:30-10:15am Technical Training
10:15-10:25am Popsicle Break
10:25-11:20am Competitions/Small-Sided Tournaments (2v2, 3v3)
11:30am Half Day Camp Ends – Pick up at Mediacom Stadium
11:30-12:45pm Lunch (provided by camp), Video
1:00pm Swimming (if lifeguards are available)
2:00pm Games (8v8/9v9)
3:00pm Soccer Olympics
4:00pm Camp Ends – Pick up at Mediacom Stadium
