2025 WOMEN'S SOCCER SUMMER ID CAMP

COST: $190.00 per Player

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • NO WALKUP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
  • All Medical Waivers, concussion and health forms will be completed and signed electronically.

CAMP FORMAT

  • Our ID camp is structured to expose players to the demands of the college game and the style of play in our Western Michigan Women's Soccer environment. Our training sessions will be run by our coaching staff and are designed to develop and allow players to showcase technical and tactical abilities. Players will participate in a training session with our coaching staff where they will get to experience our playing environment, coaching styles and interact with us on the field prior to playing games.

LOCATION: WMU Seelye Indoor Center & Waldo Stadium

WHAT TO BRING

  • Players should please bring soccer attire, cleats, shin guards, and water bottle (balls and water will be provided).  It is requested that you wear a white shirt.

CAMP SCHEDULE

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm | Training Session
  • 12:00pm - 1:15pm | Lunch
  • 1:15pm - 2:30pm | Small Sided Games
  • 2:30pm - 5:00pm | 11 v 11 & Speed/Agility Testing

LOCATION/FACILITIES:

WMU Seelye Indoor Center & Waldo Stadium Other Facilities

WMU Seelye Indoor Center & Waldo Stadium. Both facilities were part of a $1.6 Million renovation during the summer of 2013, which included brand new turf surfaces to both.

TRAINING STAFF

There will be an athletic trainer at ALL scheduled training sessions and games.

NOTE

Travel, lodging, and meal/lunch arrangements are the sole responsibility of each camper.

PARKING

The Women’s Soccer 2025 Summer ID will be held in Western Michigan's $22 million-dollar, state of the art, Seelye Indoor Facility, as well as outdoors on Waldo Stadium, the home of Bronco Football. Parking is available in Lot 7, which is located in front of Seeyle Indoor Facility and Waldo Stadium.

DIRECTIONS TO WMU SOCCER COMPLEX:

  • From I-94: Exit at Oakland Drive (Exit #75) and go North. Until you come to the light at Oakland Drive and Parkview Ave. Turn left onto Parkview Ave and continue on until you reach Drake Road. Turn left onto Drake Road which then you will enter WMU's Business, Technology and Research Park/Engineering College Campus. (Drake Rd. will become Campus Drive). Follow Campus Drive. 0.6 miles, turn left at College Circle (fourth possible left after crossing Parkview Ave) and follow into WMU Soccer Complex entrance.
  • From M-43: Turn left off M-43 (Gull Road) in Kalamazoo onto Riverview Drive. Go under the railroad overpass and bear right onto Michigan Avenue for 0.4 miles. It then becomes Kalamazoo Avenue. Continue until it becomes Stadium Drive. Follow Stadium Drive until you reach the Drake Road/Stadium Drive light. Turn left to head down Drake Road and crossing the light at Parkview Ave. You will enter WMU's Business, Technology and Research Park/Engineering College Campus. (Drake Rd. will become Campus Drive). Follow Campus Drive. 0.6 miles, turn left at College Circle (fourth possible left after crossing Parkview Ave) and follow into WMU Soccer Complex entrance.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SEELYE CENTER:

  • From I-94: At exit #74, turn north onto US-131, go 2.7 miles, see continued directions from US-131 below.
  • From US-131: Exit #36A (Stadium Drive East) and proceed 2.5 miles. After crossing Oliver Street (in between basketball arena and softball field), the second right will be the entrance (Lot 7) to the Seelye Center. The Seelye Center is the building located at the east end of the football stadium.

  • Players should please bring soccer attire, cleats, shin guards, and water bottle (balls and water will be provided).  It is requested that you wear a white shirt.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

  • If a player is forced to pull out of the camp for COVID, or other medical reasons, a FULL refund (minus a 6% processing fee) will be granted to the player if notification is given by Sunday, July 20th, 2025 with medical proof from a Physician. If players do not withdraw before Sunday, July 20th, 2025 a $60 processing fee will be withheld from the refund. If the camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, the closest alternative date to the original camp date will be arranged and the camp will resume as planned on the new date.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Camp will help held both inside of our indoor facility (the Seelye Center) and outside on the football field in Waldo Stadium, no spectators are allowed on the turf at any time. There is an upper viewing area in our indoor facility and the Waldo Stadium bleachers will be open for spectators to watch.
  • In the case that camp is held at WMU Soccer Complex. Bleachers are available on the main game field for spectators. Limited seating is available at the practice field. Parking is available in the Lot next to the game field
