OL/DL Lineman Hog Academy

Over three days, you’ll receive elite instruction focused on running back fundamentals, skills, and drills to improve your technique and football IQ.

Location: Richland Center High School

The camp will cover:

• Footwork & Agility – Stance work, ladder drills, and cone drills to improve quickness, balance, and reaction time.
• Hand Placement & Strike Technique – Proper punch mechanics, hand fighting, and leverage to win the battle at the line.
• Explosiveness & Power – First-step quickness, hip explosion, and sled work to develop strength off the snap.
• Leverage & Pad Level – Maintaining low pad level, engaging with force, and driving defenders off the ball.
• Run Blocking – Zone and gap blocking techniques, combo blocks, and finishing through contact.
• Pass Protection – Kick slides, hand fighting, mirroring defenders, and anchoring against bull rushes.
• Defensive Line Techniques – Shedding blocks, hand combat, gap control, and pass-rush moves (swim, rip, bull rush).
• Trench IQ & Recognition – Reading the defense, recognizing stunts and blitzes, and making in-game adjustments.
• Toughness & Finish – Developing a relentless motor, playing through the whistle, and outworking the opponent. 

Athletes should bring the following equipment:

• Athletic gear
• Cleats
• Water bottle to stay hydrated
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
