Cougar Volleyball Camps

2025 Beach Camp

The health and safety of coaches and participants is our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the recommendations of local health authorities and will be sending updates specific to this event as we gain more information. This event is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Schedule Details
Beach Camp Schedule

Saturday, May 10th

  • 8:30am – 9:00am – Check-In for All campers (Santis Restaurant – 1471 Ben Sawyer Blvd. Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 – courts are directly behind the restaurant and parking is available everywhere on the property)
  • ALL 9:00am – 11:30am – Introduction to advanced fundamentals of beach volleyball : drills designed to enhance passing, setting, attacking
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm - Lunch (not provided)
  • ALL 12:30pm – 3:00pm – Continued instruction in the concepts of beach volleyball : competitive drills and play
  • All Camper pick up at 3:00pm
  • 4:00pm - Recruiting Seminar at The Yard (Talk through recruiting at College of Charleston, introduce you to our courts, etc.)

Sunday, May 11th

  • 8:45am – 8:55am – Drop Off at Santis
  • 9:00am - 1:00pm – Tournament Play
  • There will not be a designated lunch break, nor will food be provided. There is a restaurant onsite for which the menu can be found online (Santis Mexican Restaurant Mt. Pleasant, SC)
  • All Camper pick up at 1:00pm

Open to girls and boys entering 7th - 12th Grades. This camp is designed to work  primarily on the fundamentals of beach volleyball in challenging and fun environment. Excellent beach instruction given by College of Charleston coaches and beach volleyball student-athletes will help you master the basics and introduce you to high level playing!

For this camp the second day (Sunday the 11th) will be TOURNAMENT PLAY ONLY. You DO NOT have to come with a partner on Saturday, and we can assign pairs if any athlete does not have a partner by the end of Saturday’s sessions.

*ALL EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO POSITION EACH ATHLETE IN THE PROPER GROUP during each of the sessions labeled ALL on the itinerary.
