5th and 6th Grade Tackle Football
The Gilbert Youth Sports Tackle Football program is a member of the Youth Sports Foundation and is available to any Gilbert youth entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall of 2025. GYS and the Youth Sports Foundation offer certified coaches, USA Football affiliation and equipment rental. The focus is on teaching fundamentals and an opportunity to be introduced to the sport of tackle football in a safe and enjoyable environment. All registrants are required to attend an equipment fitting session.

FAQ
Does my child have to come to the meeting?
If they are signing up, yes. We will need to get them fitted for equipment. If you are just seeking information, your child doesn't have to come, but we strongly encourage it.
Do I have to sign up on Sunday the 27th?
No, the first part will be sharing information and answering any questions. There will be a second fitting date on Sunday, May 4. The registration deadline is Wednesday, May 7, so equipment can be ordered.
If I register online do I still have to attend?
Yes. Your child will need to be fitted for equipment
