Hanford High School Sports Camps
Cross Country Overnight Camp
On Monday, June 30th we will be meeting at the parking lot near the Spirit Rock at Hanford HS at 8:00am and heading towards Walla Walla, WA and the beautiful Blue Mountains. We have secured a camping spot at Harris Country Park in Milton Freewater on which we will tent camp, workout, play games, enjoy the out-of-doors, and have a great time getting to know each other. The Coaches and Mr. & Mrs. Porter will be the chaperones, cooks, and activity coordinators. The cost will be $35 – paid when you sign up on Ryzer (+ bring $10 cash the morning we leave – given to the parent coordinators of transportation to help parent drivers with gas money).
Critical information for signing up...
We will be having parents carpool to and from camp, contact Mr. Mars if you think your parent might be able to help with transportation and we will get their contact info to the parent coordinators.
*You must be registered by Wednesday, 6/25. This will allow parents to organize transportation.
**If at all possible, please try to make this trip with the team, it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Time:
We will meet at 8:00am, Monday, June 30th, at Hanford HS (back parking lot, near the Spirit Rock). Please be on time or early. We will return to HHS about 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 1st.
What to Bring:
- $10 to contribute for gas money
- Sack lunch for Monday
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Clothes that can get dirty
- running shoes + another pair of shoes
- money for ice cream or fruit on the way (optional)
- Towel and Swimsuit (creek nearby)
- waterbottle
- Jacket and pants/sweats (it gets cold)

soap, toothpaste, etc.
*sorry, no showers, except for the creek!
Additional Information:
There is no cell service, but you can contact the campground if there is an emergency.
