Tournament Rules

Prosect Wire Softball Event Rules:

Prospect Wire Softball is not a sanctioning body, but in Prime Events will follow Alliance Rules & Policies. Prospect Wire Softball allows the use of a DP/Flex and the EP/EH in the same lineup.

Note the modifications to Rules page, including pitching and digital communication

Bracket Game Time Limits: 1 hour 30 minutes, finish the inning for 14u and up. 10u – 12u - 1 hour 15 minutes finish the inning.

1. Run Rule for ALL age groups: 10 runs after 4, 8 runs after 5 (Bracket Games Only)
2. Run Rule for Pool Games 10 runs after 4 after 65 minutes of Play.
3. Pool play games only allows free Defensive substitution and bat your lineup. Bracket Games Each team will need to turn in a lineup at the home plate meeting.
4. Basic ASA/USA rules with lineup modification.
5. Coaches will flip for home team.
6. NO PROTEST TOURNAMENT

PW Refund Policy:

• Teams may receive a full refund if requested 3 weeks or more before the event’s start date.
• Teams may receive a 75% refund if requested 14-20 days out from event start date.
• No refunds will be issued during the 2 weeks before the event’s start date.

Weather/Act of God Refund Policy - If the entire event is lost due to weather or any Act of God, you have 2 options.

Option 1- The entry fee will be refunded via check minus a 20% administration fee.

Option 2- You can elect to transfer your entry fee to a future event minus a 10% administration fee.

If only one game is played you will be refunded 70% of the entry fee by check or you can transfer 80% to a future event. If two games are played you will be refunded 40% of the entry fee by check or you can transfer 50% to a future event. If 3 or more games are played there is no refund.
