Event Description
'R' Recreation & CWC Community Education
Wild Game Processing
CWC will be offering a new meaningful and timely class for the community. Come and learn the techniques for processing the animals you harvest in hunting season. This is a great entry into processing your own game meat to help save money and take pride in processing the meat that you harvested. In the class students will simulate processing game animals by using a domestic lamb. Each student will get ½ of the lamb at the end of the class. Students will learn to paper wrap or vacuum pack their boneless lamb cuts. Students are encouraged to bring their own knives. Participants should bring a snack or small lunch as there will be a short lunch break. Don’t delay on registering as there are limited spots available.
