Event Description

Simpson Track and Field Elite Camp

Camps will be coached by Coach James Hoffman (Sprints), Coach Ashlan Burton (Throws), Coach Carter Berkey (Jumps) and Coach Natasha Kaiser-Brown (Hurdles). All are a part of the Simpson Track and Field coaching staff. Camp will include film, block work, max velocity, full 4 week training program, bar work, approaches, and drills.

Save $35 if you register for 2 sessions in the same transaction

Schedule of Events
10:00am - 12:00pm → Sprints
10:00am - 12:00pm → Throws 
12:00pm - 2:00pm → Hurdles
12:00pm - 2:00pm → Throws 
3:00pm - 4:30pm → High Jump

 LIMITED SPOTS will be available for all 4 sessions.

About the Coaches

  • Coach Hoffman
    • Has coached 7 All-Americans, 80 All-Conference athletes, 31 conference titles, 13 school records. 
  • Coach Burton
    • Has coached 11 top 10 marks in school history. She was a 7 time All-American while competing for Central Missouri.  
  • Coach Berkey
    • Has coached 17 top 10 marks in school history and 2 All-Conference athletes. 
  • Coach Brown
    • Two-time Olympian and former University of Missouri associate head coach Natasha Brown. A silver medalist in the 4x400m relay at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics, and gold medalist in the 4x400m relay at the 1993 World Championships, Brown brings an extensive resume of experience to Indianola.
    • Over her 25-year coaching career, including 16 seasons as Drake's track and field and cross country head coach, Brown coached eight NCAA finalists, 32 conference champions, 41 school records, and 47 NCAA qualifiers.
    • Prior to coaching, Brown was a member of 16 U.S. national teams after winning the 1989 NCAA National Championships in the 400m. A six-time NCAA All-American, five-time conference champion, and former NCAA collegiate record holder in the 400m, Brown was named to the SEC Legends program in 2020.
