Fall 2025 Red Raider Soccer Academy 

The Red Raider Soccer Academy is an 8-week program designed to provide U-6 to U-10 players (ages 4–10) with a supplemental technical training program to complement their current team or club commitments. 

Our mission is to give young players the tools they need to grow in confidence and skill. Through a carefully crafted curriculum, players will focus on key areas of development such as: 

• Dribbling and ball mastery 
• Technical ball striking 
• Applying skills in game-like scenarios 

The Academy curriculum was developed by Texas Tech Assistant Coach Nick Hallam, who holds a USYS National Youth License and USC National Youth Diploma. With over 25 years of youth coaching experience, Coach Hallam brings a high-level, age-appropriate approach to player development that helps prepare young athletes for the next step—whether that’s competitive club soccer or simply building a strong foundation for future play. 

Texas Tech Soccer players will also play an active role in the Academy, serving as mentors and demonstrators throughout training sessions. Their involvement gives Academy players a chance to learn from and be inspired by current collegiate athletes. 

Whether your child is just starting out or already developing a passion for the game, Red Raider Soccer Academy offers a fun, challenging, and purposeful training environment focused on technical growth and love of the game.
