Overnight Prospect Camp – The Ouachita Experience
This is a prospect overnight camp open to all 2026 – 2030 High School Graduates. This is an advanced level camp which will include practice, drill scenarios metric testing as well as simulated game play at Langston Field. All campers will work with current Ouachita coaching staff, guest instructors and players throughout the weekend.
In addition, campers and families will have the opportunity to attend Saturday dinner hosted by Ouachita Faculty, Staff and Coaches to learn more about the University and the softball program.
Campers are responsible for overnight accommodations.

*In case of inclement weather, every attempt will be made to move camp activities to the indoor facility on the OBU Campus
Camp Schedule:
- 10:00 AM – Check-In and Registration
- 10:30 AM – Optional Devotional w/current OBU players
- 10:45 AM – Warmup Begins
- 11:00 AM – Metrics Testing
- 12:15 PM – Lunch on your own

1:00 PM – 3 Way Skills/Drills/Hitting Rotation -
- Pitchers/Catchers
- Infield
- Outfield
- 2:45 PM – Simulated Game(s) – Warm Up
- 3:00 PM – Simulated Game(s)
- 6:30 PM – Campers Family and Team Dinner, including presentations, Q&A with Faculty, Staff and Coaches
- 10:00 AM – Church with the Players (Optional)
- 12:30 PM – Simulated Game(s) – Warm Up
- 1:00 PM – Simulated Games
- 3:30 PM – Wrap-Up

Water will be provided for all campers.
