Event Description

507 Baseball Academy Hitting and Development Program

 
 

DESCRIPTION: 

Our 507 Hitting Program is designed to assess and train current weaknesses with the goal of competing at the next level, whether that is High School, College, or Professional baseball.  We blend old-school wisdom and new-school cues with cutting edge technology to help each player train as efficiently as possible.   We have the tools, knowledge, and passion to help each player achieve their goals.  

Our Performance program is also included with your hitting program. This program is a 30 min active recovery, strength, speed, and mobility circuit run by 507 strength coaches after each hitting session.

 

Session 1 - Grades 6-8: Tuesday and Friday 7-8:30pm

Session 2 - Grades 9-12: Tuesday and Friday 8-9:30pm

 
*Live At-Bats in February

Monthly Cost: $238.50 for month to month registration

($225 + $13.50 Fee)

This program has been created to mold and enhance hitters for the upcoming high school, college, and professional seasons.

 

PHASE 1 - ASSESS

  • Video
  • Introduction to hitting drills
  • Develop personalized hitting routine 
  • Strength and Mobility assesment

PHASE II - TRAIN

This results-driven program will cover all aspects of hitting including:

  • Dynamic Warm-Ups
  • Personalized Hitting Plan with Blast Motion
  • Lower-Half Work
  • Velocity and Off-Speed training
  • Hand Speed and Bat Speed
  • Blast Motion Sensors

PHASE III - COMPETE

  • Transition to Live AB's
  • Mental Game / Pitch Sequencing
  • Situational Hitting
  • Reading pitchers​

*Parents are more than welcome to listen, record, take notes and ask questions during all of the sessions.

*Players should wear shorts or baseball pants (no spikes).

 

Trainees will be exposed to cutting edge drills, concepts, and mechanics taught to the best hitters at the College and Professional levels.
