Saint Louis Jesuit Wrestling Club
2025-2026
Saint Louis Jesuit Wrestling Club is open to all boys and girls in grades K - 8. Wrestlers competing in the State Tournament Series will have access to practice up to the State Tournament. Practice will be cancelled any time the school is closed due to weather conditions, any time SLUH hosts a wrestling meet, and on the following dates: 11/27, 12/22, 12/23, 12/25, 12/29, 12/30, 1/1.
Ninja Warriors
These sessions are geared toward younger wrestlers and will help beginners develop body control and discipline while learning the basics of wrestling. Ninja Warriors will learn basic technique while having fun and playing lots of wrestling-related games.
Technique Ninjas
These sessions are reserved for wrestlers who are serious about learning wrestling technique and preparing for competition. To attend, wrestlers must demonstrate the ability to listen intently and follow instructions with minimal redirection. Parents who are unsure about whether or not their wrestlers are ready should talk to the coaches. Technique Ninjas will learn the finer points of wrestling technique through focused instruction and drilling.
Battle Ninjas
These sessions are reserved for wrestlers who are serious about learning wrestling technique and preparing for competition. To attend, wrestlers must demonstrate the ability to listen intently and follow instructions with minimal redirection. They must also demonstrate proficiency with basic wrestling technique. Parents who are unsure about whether or not their wrestlers are ready should talk to the coaches. Battle Ninjas will start with a standard warm up, then go right into hard drilling and live wrestling. Most practices will end with conditioning sessions.
Cost includes access to at least one night of practice per week, team t-shirt, AAU Wrestling membership, at least two Gateway City Wrestling League meets, and one free tournament entry fee.
