Location: Yogi Berra Stadium on the Campus of Montclair State University
Montclair State Prospect camp is for advanced high school players with the aspiration to play collegiate baseball in the future. The MSU coaching staff, along with the help of 3+ other collegiate programs, will guide each player through a pro style showcase. The showcase will include 60-yard dash, defensive showcase, and on field Batting Practice. Athletes will be coached by various college coaches alongside current college players. Following the showcase, a simulated game will be played giving every player the opportunity to play in a live game. Each pitcher will throw at lease 1 inning in the simulated game. Metrics from the day including 60-yard dash time and throwing velocities will be recorded and given to each coach in attendance.
For 2-way players, please select Pitcher is your primary position and your main defensive position as your secondary position
What to bring: Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided if you do not have your own.
