Volleyball Prospect Day at UMW

Volleyball Prospect Days at UMW are designed to allow players direct interaction with UMW Volleyball coaches and players. Campers will have an opportunity to showcase individual ability in serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, individual defense and gameplay. Camp will be limited to 40 participants on 2 courts to maximize interaction with UMW coaches and players and for evaluation opportunities.

PLEASE NOTE: To allow for the most efficient and balanced camp experience, we cap the number of players that can register for each position group.

• Limits per position group
  • Setters - MAXIMUM OF 8
  • Middle Blockers - MAXIMUM OF 8
  • Pin Hitters - MAXIMUM OF 16
  • Libero/Defensive Specialists - MAXIMUM OF 8

If you register and we are full in that position group, you may have your registration refunded.

Schedule

• 8:30 - 9:15am | Check-In
• 9:30am - 12:00pm | Session #1
• 12:30 - 1:30pm | Lunch (in the UMW Dining Hall)
• 2:00 - 4:00pm | Session #2

Location

Anderson Center, University of Mary Washington

What to bring:

• Volleyball gear (t-shirt, spandex, knee pads, court shoes, ankle/knee braces (if applicable), etc.)
• Water Bottle
• Needed Medications (inhaler, etc.)
• Extra pair of shoes (to wear walking across campus to the Dining Hall for lunch)
• Shorts (to wear over spandex to go to lunch in the Dining Hall)
