2026 MLK Jr. Day Indoor Festival

Eight- to eleven-year-old boys and girls will compete in small-sided soccer games and competitions in Drake’s Field House (field is turf). Players will participate in “Soccer Olympics” where teams are formed to compete in technical stations. Players will then participate in a street-style tournament where teams are constantly shuffled. Drake women’s soccer coaches and players will conduct the festival. The festival is designed to be competitive, challenging and fun!

• Drake's Field House is turfed.
• Bring outdoor cleats, indoor shoes or tennis shoes and shin guards.
• Players will be taught proper technique prior to competing for prizes!
• Des Moines, Ankeny, Johnston, Urbandale and DCG public schools are traditionally off for this holiday but please double check your school district calendar.
