The Pitching and Catching camp will be an opportunity for pitchers and catchers to work independently of one another with Michigan Softball coaches and players on the skills specific to their position. Pitchers will receive instruction on various fundamentals like power development, pitch command, and spin for different pitch types, while also having the opportunity to show off their stuff. This camp will run separate from the hitting camp, so pitchers and catchers will not hit as part of the Pitching and Catching camp.

Catchers will have the chance to practice skills such as receiving, blocking, throwing and plate coverage while being instructed by Michigan players and coaches. They will also have an opportunity to showcase their skills catching a live pitcher.
