Carthage Horizontal Jumps and Pole Vault Clinic
Horizontal Jumps Clinic Description | January 4th:
This one day clinic is an opportunity for jumpers to perfect the foundational elements of their events as well as learn advanced techniques of the events through detailed drills and positive coaching. Attendees will receive high level instruction from the Carthage College coaching staff and current Carthage College Jumpers. Training topics covered will include acceleration, the approach, foot contact, takeoff, landing, and more!
Vault Clinic Description | January 18th:
This clinic will be a great opportunity to pole vault indoors and introduce correct vaulting mechanics, plant techniques, and gymnastics to vaulters. The goal is to maximize correct run, pole, and grip height to each vaulter's ability. You will be instructed by the Carthage College coaching staff and current Vaulters. Poles are available to use during the clinic, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own.
