The Michigan Women's Soccer Elite ID #1 Camp is designed as a college identification clinic for high school girls in 9th-11th grade who want to experience what it means to be a collegiate soccer player. Camp participants will experience tactical and training sessions along with large-sided and small-sided games.  Goalkeepers will have keeper specific training sessions with the Michigan Women’s Soccer goalkeeper coach. The focus of the camp is to allow potential prospects the opportunity to be coached and identified by the University of Michigan Women’s Soccer coaches.

Camp size is limited to 48 field players and 8 goalkeepers- be sure to register early!

Sample Itinerary:

  •  2:00pm: Check-in
  •  2:30pm: Welcome and training session
  •  4:30pm: Large and small sided games
  •  6:30pm: Camp ends

What To Bring:

  • Water Bottle
  • Soccer Cleats (artificial turf surface for training)
  • Non-Cleat Shoes (Sneakers/Slides)
  • Shin Guards

Parking:

  • Parking is available at the Athletic Lot (SC 20) and the Glick Lot from the State Street and Hoover Street entrances.
  • Parking during camp is free of charge and on a first come, first served basis.

Medical Care:

  • Athletic Trainers will be on hand at the fields during all field activity for minor injuries.  
  • Emergency care will be provided by the University of Michigan Hospital for more serious injuries.
  • While the soccer camp provides secondary insurance, the campers’ health insurance will be used as the primary coverage and all forms will be on hand with the camp administrator.

Refund Policy:

  • All cancellations must be requested in writing by email to wsoccercamps@umich.edu.
  • If a cancellation occurs more than one week before camp, you will receive a refund, minus registration convenience fees and a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made within one week before the start of camp will not receive a refund.  
  •  Exceptions to the refund policy include injuries that prohibit participation in athletic activities.  Registrants must provide a dated and signed doctor's note indicating that they cannot participate in athletic activities. All documentation must be sent to wsoccercamps@umich.edu at least 48 hours prior to the start of camp in order to receive a refund.
