The Elite Volleyball ID Showcase is designed for high school girls who aspire to play college volleyball. Join current college coaches and players on court in a full day of high-level volleyball matches.

Key Highlights

• Register by position for evaluation at what you do best. Playing time is structured to provide as equal court time as possible.
• College Experience Education Seminar - an open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (Questions are encouraged to help provide answers about the recruiting process).
• All players will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

Teams will be comprised of:
2 Libero/DS, 2 Setters, 3 Middle Blockers, 3 Outside Hitters/Right Side

 

NATIONAL SHOWCASE QUALIFIER

Top players will be selected and invited to compete at the EVID National Showcase in June, featuring some of the best athletes in the country.

THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE EDUCATION SEMINAR

This will be held in between matches during the day and is for registered players and their families. The seminar will last approximately 30 minutes to teach you more about the process and what it takes to become a college student-athlete. The discussion will cover topics like: The NCAA Recruiting Rules, How to Promote Yourself, What Coaches Look For, The Best Way to Make a Video, What to Expect Playing College Athletics, How to Talk to College Coaches.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and will come out of the event having a much better idea of What College Athletics is All About. Parents and players are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS IMMEDIATE. WHEN CAMP IS FULL, REGISTRATION CLOSES AUTOMATICALLY
ENROLLMENT MAY ALSO BE FURTHER LIMITED OR EXPANDED BASED ON EACH INDIVIDUAL FACILITY

EVALUATION

Each player will receive general verbal feedback from the coaches who are on court with them.  Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college volleyball and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating volleyball player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. The interactions are designed to be informative so players can use the information in their development plans.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

• The Elite Volleyball ID Showcase will run from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
• Discussion on the College Experience Education Seminar will run in between matches throughout the day.

There will be a total of 4-5 ID Showcase Games depending on the number of teams.  There is a set maximum number of players and teams to ensure plenty of game play and action on the court.
