AGSA Fall Softball 8 & Under

We are forming an 8U softball team this fall. The team will compete in the Ames Fall Development league operated but AGSA. This is a great opportunity for players to start or continue their development. 

What to Expect

Games are scheduled on Saturdays in September & October. All games are played at the Hunziker Youth Sports Complex.

• Games will be played on Saturdays for 8U division
• AGSA team players are encouraged to provide their own equipment (especially batting/catching helmets and masks) due to Covid-19 protocols.  AGSA will provide its players with bats and other equipment if necessary.  
• AGSA team players will need to purchase/provide their own pants, socks, and belts.
• ALL players and teams are expected to read and follow the AGSA and HYSC return to play rules.

Cost

Two ways to register...

1) AGSA Players (if you are playing for an AGSA team).  Flat fee of $74 ($70 + $4 processing fee) per player.

2) AGSA players that need a team shirt may purchase them for $15.00.

Age Restrictions

We follow USA softball guidelines which state the date range. If you player is still 8 years old or younger on August 31st they are elligible to join this team.
