Shooting & Scoring Camp
McKendree Men's Basketball shooting & scoring camp is a detailed breakdown of your shot for all campers as it pertains to their specific grade level and skill differences. Our Shooting & Scoring Camp list of skills include the following topics: ball handling, footwork (ability to get open), specific shooting mechanics, and developing shooting workouts (ability to teach yourself). Along with daily shooting competitions and learning the footwork that pertains to you and who you are. We will develop your confidence, listening skills, motivation, and goal setting. We aim to help you become a well-rounded shooting/scoring camper.
Shooting and Scoring camp vs. Youth camp. Shooting and Scoring has a specific emphasis on shooting the basketball with screening, ball screens, and more. Our youth camp is time spent on your all-around game and your full development. If you are a camper who likes to be in the gym on your own, compete, and want to get better in the specific area of shooting, this is your camp.
We want to emphasize that McKendree Men's Basketball players and coaches will be doing all demonstrations and instruction of various skills. The skill instruction will be grade/skill level appropriate.

CAMP INCLUDES:
- Age-appropriate skill stations and competition
- Special Highlights: Jersey Day, Joke Day, Autograph Day.
- Daily Meals served at Ames Dining Hall.
- McKendree Camp T-Shirt
WHAT TO BRING/EXPECT:
- Campers who bring their own lunch to eat and will be supervised in MPCC or can take it to the AMES dining hall and eat with fellow campers and camp coaches.

- Second set of clothes if needed

INFORMATION:
Parent drop off will start at 8:00am each day.
Parent pick up: Supervised gym until 3:00pm each day.
Complete details about what to bring, when to be there, where to check in, and other details will be emailed to all registered campers prior to each camp.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch any/all summer camps their child is participating in.
