Elite Prospect Camp

Alex Sogard Baseball Camps at Wright State University are designed for advanced evaluation and instruction by the Raider coaching staff for players who aspire to compete for Wright State University. We offer the prospect an opportunity to showcase his skills in a pro-style workout and receive instruction from the Raider coaching staff. This Elite Prospect camp will have three portions (evaluation, class room session, & a campus tour). Position players will run a 30-yard or a 60-yard dash, pro-style defensive evaluation, and a hitting evaluation. Pitchers will receive a bullpen evaluation. All campers will receive recruiting information and have a Q & A session. If the weather does not allow us to go outside, the camp will be in McLin Gym located in the back of the Nutter Center. The Elite Prospect camp will also have a campus tour as well as a baseball clinic provided by the WSU coaching staff. Parents are encouraged to stick around so they can take part in the campus tour.

The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Location: Nischwitz Stadium/McLin Gym (Nutter Center) Raider Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45324

*Indoor Prospect Camps will be held inside McLin Gym on the lower level of the Nutter Center. Parking is available in the parking lot on the back side of the Nutter Center facing our field parking lot where the green signs are.

What to Bring: Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, tennis shoes/turfs/molded cleats, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

Refund Policy: Due to camp preparation and need to guarantee the number of campers prior to the camp, any cancellation within 2 weeks of the start of the event will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury or illness in which appropriate documentation must be provided to receive a refund or future camp credit.
Cancellations outside of 2 weeks from the start of camp are eligible for a refund less all online fees and a $10 cancellation fee or future camp credit.
