Shamrock Showdown Softball Tournament

14U Teams | $200 / Team + PAP $50 3GG (2 pool to Single Elimination)

Prime Sports Event Rules:

  • Prime Sports is not a sanctioning body, but Prime events will follow basic USA rules except for a modification relating to the playing lineup.
  • Prime Events allow the use of a DP/Flex and the EP/EH in the same lineup.
  • Pool Game Time Limits: 1 hour 30 minutes, finish the batter for 12u and 14u....1 hour 10 minutes for 10u
  • Bracket Game Time Limits: 1 hour 30 minutes, finish the inning for 12u and 14u....10u 1 hour 15 minutes finish the inning
  • Run Rule for ALL age groups: 10 runs after 4, 8 runs after 5
  • Pool play games allow free substitution or bat your lineup. Each team will need to turn in a lineup at the home plate meeting.
  • Basic ASA rules with lineup modification.
  • Courtesy runners must be substitutes and not in the hitting lineup. No last outs as runners.
  • Coaches will flip for home team.
  • NO PROTEST TOURNAMENT

PRIME Refund Policy:

  • Teams may receive a full refund if requested 3 weeks or more before event start date.
  • Teams may receive a 75% refund if requested 14-20 days out from event start date.
  • No refunds will be issued during the 2 weeks before event start date.
  • Weather/Act of God Refund Policy - If the entire event is lost due to weather or any Act of God, you have 2 options.
    • Option 1- The entry fee will be refunded via check minus a 20% administration fee.
    • Option 2- You can elect to transfer your entry fee to a future event minus an 10% administration fee.
  • If only one game is played you will be refunded 70% of entry fee by check or you can transfer 80% to a future event. If two games are played you will be refunded 40% of the entry fee by check or you can transfer 50% to a future event. If 3 or more games are played there is no refund.
